The Design/Build Remodeling Process
You can relax knowing that we’ll be your dedicated guide through the entire design and house renovation process. From the first phone call to the final clean-up, we’re with you every step of the way.
5 Steps for a
Successful Remodeling Experience
House renovation projects that aren’t properly planned will cost more money and take longer to complete. A successful project is one that follows a process for dealing with both the knowns and the unknowns, saving you time and frustration.
-
1: Learning About Your Remodeling Goals
Nice to meet you! Your ReVision journey begins with a Project Developer dedicated to you and your needs. They’ll talk or email with you about your remodeling goals to determine whether or not ReVision Design/Remodeling is a good fit for your specific project. We’ll discuss the basics: project scope, timeline, dreams, fears, and budget. If you’re feeling good about everything you’ve heard, we’ll set up a time to take a tour of your home and draft a Design Agreement.
-
2: Design & Selections
Your Project Developer and Designer will invite you into our Design Studio to view 3D renderings of what your new spaces will look like. They’ll also walk you through physical details and design features located throughout the studio, and show you material samples curated specifically for your project. After we hear you say, “I love it,” we’ll convert the renderings to detailed construction plans.
-
3: Site Evaluations & Staging
With plans in hand, your dedicated Project Manager, Project Developer, and Designer will guide our team of trades into your home to evaluate existing “known” conditions, and identify potential “unknowns.” This helps us gather all that we need to put together a fixed price contract for your project. We’ll then order all of the materials, submit your plans for permitting, and prepare our construction team for the start of your project.
-
4: The ReVision Comes to Life
A couple of weeks before we start, our Project Manager will prepare you with what to expect (timelines, work hours, access, etc.) and how we will keep you informed of progress, especially if you will be in the home during construction. Day one starts with setting up protection of non-work areas to minimize disruption and dust during demolition. Whether your project takes six hours or six months to complete, our commitment to responsiveness and communication is the same.
-
5: Enjoy Your ReVision!
The dust has settled, the paint has dried, and your new spaces are now ready to be lived in. Of course, we’ll provide a written warranty, but most importantly we’ll always be available for any questions you have about your newly ReVised home.

Bonus Room Addition“We hired ReVision to close off our two-story living room and add a bonus room directly above. Every step from the start through completion went smoothly and we are very happy with the work they did. Our lead craftsman kept in touch every day with any kind of updates. We are very happy with our new room and can't wait to do other projects with ReVision.”
