After having built and lived in their Dilworth home for nearly ten years, our clients realized their kitchen wasn’t functioning well for their needs. The layout wasn’t ideal and the dark, traditional materials didn’t match their more modern aesthetic. They enlisted our help to transform their dated kitchen into the mid-century modern inspired galley kitchen of their dreams.
By removing the kitchen window and reconfiguring all the appliance locations, our design team created three distinct zones: A prep and cooking zone, a clean-up zone, and a drop zone. The drop zone is a secondary counter space that's separate from the main prep area and acts as a landing space to house coffee or charging stations, or a simple home bar – a must-have feature for today’s modern kitchens.
