Mid-Century Ranch Kitchen Remodel
Mid-Century Ranch Kitchen Remodel
This young family loved their mid-century ranch home but found the small, closed-in kitchen outdated and inefficient for their growing needs. Their goal was to reimagine the space with a modern design that improved functionality and reflected their casual, eclectic style.
The redesigned kitchen now features a long island with seating for five and drawers for practical, accessible storage. Minimal wall cabinets allow natural light to flood in through new windows overlooking the backyard. Semi-rustic elements, such as weathered quartersawn white oak, brick tile, and darker, moody paint colors, create a warm and approachable feel. The cohesive design seamlessly blends rich natural tones and simpler moldings for a timeless yet modern look.
