For this Piper Glen home remodel, we reimagined the kitchen to better suit the size of the home and the family’s needs. The original kitchen felt small, with limited storage, appliances cramped together without functional landing zones, and a dated early-2000s look featuring arched cherry cabinets and brown granite countertops.

To create a more contemporary and functional design, we blended formal, traditional elements like a cast stone hood and marble backsplash with casual, modern finishes, including quarter-sawn white oak cabinets on the kitchen island and bar. Reconfiguring the layout of the range, sink, and microwave drawer resulted in a more efficient work triangle, while the addition of a long, rectangular island introduced much-needed storage, prep, and seating space.

The result is a thoughtfully designed, stylish kitchen that balances elegance and practicality, perfectly reflecting the family’s lifestyle and the home’s character.
