Southpark Front Porch Addition
Southpark Front Porch Addition
The goal of this exterior remodeling project was to transform the lackluster 1970’s split level into a more classic transitional brick style. A large front porch addition was added for outdoor living and entertaining. The front entry was redesigned to create a grander presence from the street, and traditional, authentic materials and finishes were used to enhance the overall aesthetic.

Classic Exterior Selections
After driving through neighborhoods around town and sending us pictures of elements they wanted to incorporate into their exterior remodeling project, we settled on classic finishes. Painted brick and bluestone pavers add subtle texture to the exterior of this transformed split-level home. The custom arched mahogany door with wrought iron scrolling paired with the beaded paneling on the barrel-vaulted ceiling give the entrance a sense of presence.
Louvered wood shutters with iron hinges and shutter dogs introduce an authenticity to the home, while the bronze metal roof and gutters contrast with the cream painted brick. Finally, the copper gas lantern acts as the icing on the cake, elevating the curb appeal of this South Park home.
