This project was all about creating a home that evolves with the needs of the family while maintaining style and function. The homeowners wanted to add a main-level bedroom for their aging parents, balancing practicality with thoughtful design. By transforming the formal dining room in the front of the home into a private bedroom suite, we provided a comfortable, accessible space that blends seamlessly into the main level. When not in use as a bedroom, the space doubles as an elegant sitting room, adding versatility without disrupting the home’s flow.

In the kitchen, we reimagined the outdated, cramped space by removing a wall and constructing an addition to create a bright, open kitchen and dining nook. The highlight of this stunning transformation is a limewashed brick archway that separates the dining area from the kitchen—a nod to the existing sunroom’s brickwork, tying the spaces together with unique charm and character.

The design details shine in every corner, from the sleek wet bar to the striking arctic blue hexagonal crackled glass tile backsplash, which adds a pop of color and texture. The kitchen now feels vibrant and fresh, offering a perfect blend of functionality and style for this hardworking couple in healthcare.
