As a project designer, I believe that your environment shapes who you are daily. Design has everything to do with your environment, how it functions and how it makes you feel when you are in it. Changing your environment and how you exist within it for the better is why I love what I do every day. Curating a timeless design that feels unique to you is always my goal in achieving any project big or small. Beyond designing, I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, going to the gym, or doing something active like biking, as well as all kinds of arts and crafts.
My Most Memorable Project
After 7 years in the residential design world here in Charlotte, my most memorable designs always end up being those moody speakeasy bars and bathrooms. The client and I always have the most fun stepping outside their comfort zone with curated selections. Those spaces are always the ones that become everyone’s favorite at the end of the remodel because their personality shines through the design. This ignites that much more joy in the clients because they truly made their space uniquely their home. That joy is why I do what I do.
