Mid-Century Modern Primary Bath on Lake Norman
This project was part of a major remodel of a mid-century modern home on Lake Norman. The upgraded primary bathroom design includes a large two-person shower, a double vanity, and the clean lines and mixed materials characteristic of mid-century modern aesthetics.
When the couple bought this 1975 waterfront lake house in Denver, NC, they had a grand vision for revitalizing it. Their goal was to restore the home’s mid-century modern charm while adding their personal touch to the design.
Special features include the mirrored toe kick on the vanity and the linen cabinet that creates a floating effect. The newly remodeled primary bath also showcases stained cabinetry and terrazzo-like quartz countertops, both hallmarks of mid-century design.
