Lake Norman Mint Green Guest Bath Remodel

A thoughtful blend of functionality, tranquility, and creative design, this guest hall bathroom transformation earned Best Hall Bathroom Under $70,000 at the 2023 Remodeler of the Year (RotY) Awards. What was once an awkward, inefficient layout is now a serene, beautifully designed space that comfortably accommodates multiple house guests.

The original L-shaped hallway created a challenging pinch point, limiting flow and functionality. Our team reconfigured the layout to create a more streamlined hallway while introducing a compartmentalized bathroom design that allows two or more guests to use the space simultaneously. Separate vanity and bathing areas, complete with a bathtub, provide added convenience and privacy.

Soft mint green tones establish a calming atmosphere, while a custom glass door with applied oak slats adds warmth, texture, and architectural interest to the elongated hallway. Etched glass allows ambient light to filter through, and carefully feathered hardwood flooring creates a seamless transition between spaces. An oversized sink base provides generous towel storage, while a full-width mirrored medicine cabinet maximizes functionality without compromising the clean aesthetic.

The result is an award-winning guest bathroom that transforms a challenging layout into a peaceful, practical retreat, demonstrating how thoughtful space planning and distinctive design details can elevate even the most functional areas of a home.
