Laundry Loft Upgrade Off Providence

Winner of the Best Residential Interior ($100,000–$250,000) Award at the 2025 Remodeler of the Year (RotY) Awards, this stunning laundry room transformation proves that even the most functional spaces can be filled with beauty and personality.

What was once a cramped upstairs laundry closet is now a dreamy, walk-in laundry room that seamlessly blends charm, style, and everyday functionality. By repurposing an underutilized nook in the loft, the design creates ample space for hanging delicates, drying sweaters, folding clothes, and neatly storing laundry essentials.

A playful checkerboard floor, delicate floral wallpaper, fluted apron-front sink, and soft powder blue ceiling bring texture, color, and personality to the space. Thoughtful features, including pull-out drying racks, drying drawers, and a collapsible folding table, maximize efficiency without compromising the room’s inviting aesthetic. A coordinating pocket door, painted to complement the trim and ceiling, provides the perfect finishing touch.

The result is an award-winning laundry room that transforms an everyday chore into a more enjoyable experience, demonstrating how creative design and thoughtful craftsmanship can turn an overlooked space into something truly extraordinary.
