My Role at ReVision

Putting the care of your home into someone else’s hands is not always easy. The construction process can be stressful, which is why my goal each day is to put myself in the shoes of both the client and everyone involved in each phase of the project from start to finish, helping make a hectic process go as smoothly as possible. Keeping clients happy is very important to me, and seeing a quality project successfully delivered makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

My Most Memorable Project

The project I remember most was a slate roof pool house with an extended eave that required the replacement of a 7” x 14” solid beam around the entire perimeter. The demolition alone took nearly a week to complete. We replaced it with a triple LVL beam supported by treated 8×8 posts to properly carry the load. Installing the connecting L-brackets was particularly challenging, as each bracket weighed nearly 100 pounds. It also took an entire day just to pre-drill the holes for the carriage bolts. Once everything was wrapped with trim boards, the extensive framing detail was no longer visible. This project served as a great reminder of the amount of work, planning, and craftsmanship that often goes unnoticed in the finished product.
